Slave to the algorithm? The impact of data on corporate communications and marketing
How is data being used to target the right audiences at the right time and to make communications more efficient? Where do issues such as data freedom, filter bubbles and threats to democracy fit into the debate, and what do communications leaders need to know in order to handle data with care? The third event in our 2017 EACD Debate series will examine these and other questions from several different angles.

DNV GL Oil & Gas is a global organisation with operations in 40 countries and approximately 3 000 employees. Cathrine Torp has two decades of experience from heading up communication for companies such as Total Norge, Aker, Storebrand, and Statoil before joining legacy DNV in 2012.
*Jane Rygaard, Head of Marketing, Advanced Mobile Networks Solutions, Marketing and Corporate Affairs at NOKIA
Jane has a passion for digitalisation and how technology changes our lives and enables new business. In her current role, she is responsible for marketing of the advanced mobile solutions like Private mobile networks for industries, Public Safety communications and IoT connectivity. She has a background in the telecom software and cloud.
*Kim Larsen, Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Communications & Relations at Dankse Bank
Kim has over 15 years' of experience in strategic communications across internal and external disciplines. Prior to joining Danske Bank he spent 12 years on the agency side including as Managing Director for Denmark at Burson-Marsteller, where he consulted a wide range of regional and international clients in reputation management, issues and crisis management, and public affairs.
