Sofia Zainea is the new Romanian EACD Coordinator

Sofia Zainea, Public Relations and Communications Manager, IBM Romania, has taken on the role of EACD Regional Coordinator for Romania. She has replaced Luminita Oprea, who had previously held the role, successfully promoting the EACD in the region, before moving into a consultancy role.

Ms Zainea joined IBM in 1992, as a Communications Manager and was named Integrated Marketing & Communications Manager in 1998, before taking up her current position. Before joining IBM, she worked as Software Development Marketing Manager and Events Manager for the Romanian Research Institute for Computer Science.

Ms Zainea has been working with the EACD Coordination team in recent days, and has set a provisional date for the next Regional Debate in Bucharest, which is scheduled to take place on June 24th. More details will be announced about this event as they are finalised
