EACD has Two New Working Group Heads

At the European Communication Summit 2010, two new EACD Working Group Heads were announced. Josep Catllà Planas (Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, sanofi-aventis España) took over the reins at the Working Group Health, replacing Gloria Pujol de Pablo-Blanco. Philip Springuel (Communications and Business Development Manager, European Food Information Council) has replaced Laura Smillie as the Head of the Working Group Risk and Crisis Communications.

The EACD Working Groups aim to pool the knowledge of the association’s members within a particular field of interest. Their goals are to establish cross-institutional networks within specific fields and to develop and enhance topic-related standards. Members of the EACD convene regularly for workshops and meetings on specific topics. They work jointly on papers and guidelines for specific issues.

Members can join the following EACD Working Groups:
Energy, European Institutions, Evaluation, Finance and Insurance, Health, Internal Communications, Risk and Crisis Communications, Social Media and Transport.
