Europe’s leading Communication Directors and Spokespersons from business, international associations, NGOs and the field of politics will discuss current challenges and the future of their profession in Brussels. The European Communication Summit will gather more than 60 speakers and several hundred participants on June 11 and 12.
In over 25 presentations, keynotes, and discussions, they will debate strategies and tools, methods and best cases within the fields of Corporate Communication, PR, Media Relations and political communication. Hosts are the European Association of Communication Directors and professional magazine Communication Director. Among the speakers are Michael Oreskes, Executive Editor of the International Herald Tribune, Pat Cox, President of the European Movement, James Appathurai, Chief Spokesman of the NATO, Pierre Louette, CEO of Agence-France Press, and several Members of the European Parliament.
New study:
What is more, the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) has initiated a survey on “European Communication Professionals”. This project is being conducted in cooperation with the renowned Institute for Media and Communication Management at the University of St. Gallen and its Director, Prof. Dr. Miriam Meckel. The results of the “European Communication Professionals: Report 2007” will be presented by Prof. Meckel at the opening of the European Communication Summit on June 11.
