On November 22nd the EACD celebrated its 1st Anniversary at the Fortis Premise in Brussels. The Association was founded on November 8th of 2006 and already counts more than 700 communication professionals from all over Europe amongst its members.
“Setting qualification standards in the communications profession” was the topic of the panel discussion where numerous guests and members came together to celebrate the Anniversary of the young but very successful Association.
Moderator Andy Bounds (Financial Times) and panellists Frank L.V. Thevissen (University of Brussels), Aidan White (International Federation of Journalists), Marionne Barge-van Engelen (Russel Reynolds Associates) and Herbert Heitmann (President of EACD) lead discussion on an interesting and lively evening. Exchange of experience and knowledge took place during the dinner and was another wonderful opportunity for the group of almost 80 participants to get to know each other.
