We are delighted to share with you the date of our upcoming EU Institutions Working Group meeting which will take place in Brussels on April 5.

Communicating Europe after the White Paper

Following the publication of the White Paper on the Future of Europe, the European Commission is stepping up its communication efforts to stimulate a debate on the EU as well as to improve the understanding of the European Union by citizens. Three communication strands  ̶  the EU delivers, the EU empowers and the EU protects  ̶  will drive a citizen focused communication agenda which builds on the political priorities of the Commission as well as on initiatives like the Investment Plan for Europe and communication milestones such as the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome.

EACD Working Group Coordinator Bela Dajka is inviting EACD Members to the next EU Institutions Working Group meeting to discuss EU communication challenges with Mikel Landabaso Alvarez, Director of Strategy and Corporate Communication and Robert Sołtyk, Project Leader on the #EU60 campaign.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 5 April 2017 from 18:00 to 19:30 at rue de la Loi 56, 1000 Brussels.

The meeting will be held under Chatham House rules. For security reasons all participants not working in EU institutions will be asked to provide their full name, nationality, birth date and ID number before the event.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our next working group meeting. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at
