The EACD offers coaching days, whereby qualified speakers offer an intensive two- or three-hour training session, in the form workshops, for communicators interested in learning in depth about a particular aspect of communications. The upcoming Coaching Day, held in London, will focus on Corporate Storytelling. It will take place on Tuesday, November 5th 2013.
"Getting your story straight"
Now more than ever, corporations and organisations the world over are being asked to 'tell their story' to a wide range of stakeholders.
But what does that mean exactly? What is a corporate story and what is it for? How can having a great one drive benefits into your business and what are the risks of going without? Who's got a good story to tell and how do they use it?
This workshop will look to address the above whilst also giving some key pointers as to how to build your own story. We'll cover the elements you'll need to include and give advice on how you might go about finding them.
We are delighted to welcome as our coach:
- Mike Oliver, Head of Brand, Radley Yeldar
Mike leads RY's Branding and Marcoms specialism and has over 12 years' experience in brand positioning, identity and engagement work across a huge range of sectors. His recent projects include repositioning and rebranding a number of FTSE 100 companies, helping the Dept of Health make the NHS more recognisable, launching a series of successful FMCG brands and designing extensive brand engagement programmes for multinationals. In each case Mike's aim is the same: create brands that are compelling, credible and distinctive in order to touch their audiences and make a positive difference.
