The EACD is happy to invite you to our next Regional Debate in Croatia which will take place on January 22nd at 4.30pm at Velvet Café in Zagreb.
The topic of the event will be: "Creating the CEO image and it's influence on the company reputation". The positive image of business leaders of corporations is extremely important considering that the CEO symbolizes and articulates everything that the company represents and strives to represent in the public. It is precisely for this reason that the topic of this year’s EACD panel will be the importance of creating and managing the image of CEOs and its impact on company reputation.

Dubravka Jusić, Corporate Communications Director at Vipnet and EACD's regional coordinator for Croatia
Dubravka Jusić is a member of the core team that founded Vipnet in 1998 by laying the groundwork for one of the most successful companies in Croatia. From 2000 up to today she holds the position of the Corporate Communications Director and until the 2009, Mrs. Jusić managed the Corporate Communications of Mobilkom Austria Group during its strong regional expansion, intensively collaborating with teams from Slovenia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Austria, Serbia and Belarus. From 2011 to 2013 she was the Internal Communications Director at A1 Telekom Austria. Her responsibilities are strategic communication, public relations and community relation, strengthening the brand and image of the company and the Group, development of corporate culture, corporate social responsibility and internal and crisis communication. From 2013, alongside the function of the Director of Corporate Communications at Vipnet, she performs the function of the Director of International Internal Communications of Telekom Austria Group. She is also the regional coordinator EACD's (Europeean Association of Communication Directors) for Croatia.
Gabrijela Kasapović, Corporate Communications Director at Atlantic Grupa
Gabrijela Kasapović started collecting professional experiences as a student, working as an assistant in the Office of Public Relations of the Croatian Government since 2001. After graduating at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Zagreb in 2003, she continued her professional voyage in journalism, in Poslovni tjednik, Poslovni dnevnik and Lider where she remained until the beginning of 2006. She has replaced a successful career in journalism with a career as a public relations expert in Atlantic Grupa team. Since 2006, as part of their corporate communications department, she deals with media relations, internal communication, as well as communication with different corporation stakeholders through numerous channels. Since 2008 she has been promoted to Director of Corporate Communications of Atlantic Grupa.
Dejan Verčič, professor at Faculty of social sciences, University of Ljubljana
Dejan Verčič is a Slovenian public relations theorist and researcher. He is a Professor and Head of Centre for Marketing and Public Relations at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Dejan Verčič has published 11 books, and the most recent are Culture and Public Relations (2012), The Global Public Relations Handbook: Theory, Research, and Practice (2003, 2009), Public Relations Metrics: Research and Evaluation (2008). In 2000 and in 2010 he received special awards by the Public Relations Society of Slovenia, and in 2001 he was awarded the Alan Campbell-Johnson Medal for outstanding service to international public relations by the UK Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Since 1994, he organizes an annual International Public Relations Research Symposium – BledCom. In 2014 he was a Fulbright Scholar at the Sand Diego State University in the USA. He was a co-founder of "Pristop", one of the leading consultancy and communications companies in SE Europe, headquartered in Ljubljana.
