It is our pleasure to invite you to our upcoming EACD Regional Debate in Hungary which will take place on May 13th from 10:00 - 12:00 at Fővárosi Csatornázási Művek Zrt. Dél-pesti Szennyvíztisztító Telepén (1238 Budapest, Meddőhányó u. 1.).
This debate will explore the topic of "Drinking sewage or what is the price of the environmental protection?" and discuss questions like "How does a Wastewater Treatment Plant visit become a popular weekend program?", "Where is the line between the personal and corporate level of environmental responsibility?" and "How do they strengthen/reinforce each other?".
After the presentation, a cleaning water treatment plant will be visited. Participants can follow through the sewage water’s method where as a result of the high technology purification process colourless, odourless, clear liquid will get back to the living environment of Danube. We can have an insight into the “living machine cleaning” which is an unusual, unique and aesthetic spectacle of the sewage water treatment plant. Furthermore, you will learn how to become the wastewater treatment sludge as an electric and heat energy.
