On behalf of the European Association of Communications Directors (EACD) and the Regional Coordinator, Edna Yahil, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Regional Debate in Geneva. The event will be held on Monday, December 2nd, 2013, beginning at 4pm.
“In its 150th year the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) continues to respond to the needs of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence throughout the world, what are the challenges for communication and how does communication support the ICRC’s mandate?”
Charlotte Lindsey-Curtet, Director of Communication and Information Management at ICRC, will highlight the critical challenges and the responses to them.
About the speaker:
Charlotte Lindsey-Curtet began her career at the British Red Cross as information and marketing officer and subsequently as head of project before joining the ICRC in 1993. She worked in the field for five years as delegate, coordinator and head of sub-delegation. She has since held a number of posts at headquarters including head of the " women and war " project, deputy head of division and, most recently, deputy director of Communication. Charlotte has a degree in business studies and a master's degree in communication.
The event will be held at the International Committee of the Red Cross, 19 Avenue de la paix CH 1202, Geneva. Attendance will be free of charge as usual, compliments of the EACD.
