The Europa building is the new home of the European Council and the Council of the EU. It hosts EU summits, multilateral summits and ministerial meetings. The national delegations and the President of the European Council also have their offices in Europa. The building was completed in December 2016.
EACD members have now a unique opportunity to visit the building on a guided tour which is offered by the Council on an experimental basis. The guided tour will be followed by a briefing on the Council's communication activities by Paul Reiderman, Director of Media and Communication. The Council's communication function caters for a complex institutional set-up: the Council of the European Union, the European Council, the President of the Council and the rotating presidency.
You are warmly invited by EACD's EU Institutions Working Group Coordinators Bela Dajka and Katie Owens to register for this event before 18 October. Due to security requirements, late registrations will not be accepted.
