Whether internal or external, B2B or B2C, digital technology or brand authenticity, the EACD’s Paris Debate will offer fresh perspectives on digital.
Digital empowerment: Ashish Babu will share how to raise awareness of the power of digital technology to enable people to realise and create new opportunities and help address some of the pressing challenges of our time. Drawing on Tata Consultancy Services’ successful #DigitalEmpowers launched last year, Ashish will explain why it’s essential for brands to find a positive response to societal changes and focus on solutions that are relevant to your company’s purpose.
Digital outreach: How is a brand’s digital communications impacted by a B2B context as opposed to B2C? What different measurement approaches are required? These questions will be discussed by Ines Windisch
Digital influence: How do companies find the right digital influencer to suit their brand, and how do they measure and track the success of their digital influences? How do they even define “influence”? A communications head from a major brand will explain their experiences, good and bad, in finding, following and measuring their social media stars.
After the discussion round there will be time for networking and light refreshments.

Ashish Babu Head of Communications UK & Europe Tata Consultancy Services
Ashish Babu is director of communications for Europe and UK at Tata Consultancy Services. In this role he is responsible for creating and implementing communications programmes across 21 countries. Ashish works to find the news and narratives no one else sees, to look beyond the obvious and discover something new. Behind this is nearly 20 years' experience in the communications sector and a collection of exclusive industry awards in social, digital, PR and corporate communications. He joined Tata in 2006.
Ines Windisch Head of Communications/Global Integrated Care & Internal Communication for Sanofi Diabetes and Cardiovascular
Ines Windisch has worked in communication, public affairs and market access in small countries, big countries, within a region and on global level for different businesses. So far she has done a lot of change management processes with focus on organisational development and stakeholder management. Since 2000 she has been working for Sanofi in various areas, like Rx, Gx and CHC. In addition to her current role, she is driving the global internal communication of the Global Business Unit Diabetes and Cardiovascular.
Cecile Abeille, Corporate Communications Director EMEA of Estee Lauder Companies
Accumulating 17 years of extensive experience in brand and corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, strategic media counsel and corporate affairs, Cecile Abeille is invaluable in building and strengthening any companies’ communications strategy at local and global levels. Cecile Abeille joined The Estée Lauder Companies in October 2005 and over the course of her 13 year career with the Company she has been promoted four times in strategic communications roles for multiple brands and the corporate group.
