Marketing Communications is a function in great turmoil these days. Data, Analytics and Sales expectations from marketing sets great pressure on the classic marcom´s duties. At the same time corporate communications are finding new feet in the light of digitalization, new media and the ever-increasing pressure on reputation.
So what are the challenges facing Marcoms - and what to do about it? Meet two very experienced players in the field presenting and debating this topic. Klavs Valskov, CCO & Partner at Frankly (former Brand Director at GE) and Tobias Falkencrone, Director of Strategy at the IDNA Group. Both are internationally experienced and have worked for some of the biggest Danish organizations. They will give short presentations and share their thoughts in a "talk-show"style setting, answering and commenting on your questions.
Moderating the debate will be Anders Monrad Rendtorff, EACD Regional Coordinator for Denmark, Chairman of the board of K1 and Associate Partner at RelationsPeople.

Klavs Valskov, Chief Commercial Officer at Frankly.
Klavs Valskov is CCO and Partner with the creative digital agency Frankly. He looks after the agency’s international blue chip clients out of London where he helps them activate their brands through market positioning strategies, analytics & insights, C-level counsel and cool campaigns executed by the 40-man strong team based in Copenhagen, London and Vilnius. He also specializes in supporting CMOs and CCOs on team design, capabilities and operating rhythms. Prior to Frankly, Klavs was Chief Communications Officer at Maersk from 2008-13, followed by a role as Brand Director in GE for a 3-year period in London. In 2014 he published the textbook “Internal Communications, a Manual for Practitioners”, which is part of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ series of PR in Practice.
Tobias Falkencrone, Director of Strategy at IDNA Group.
40 yo, brand and marketing executive with broad international experience across strategy as well as tactical execution. Tobias has just come back to Denmark after a series of years in Qatar, where he was Director of Global Brand and Marketing for QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East. Before that he spent 6 years with Maersk Group, as Director of Group Marketing and Branding today Tobias is the current Director of Strategy at IDNA Group, a Copenhagen based strategic brand consultancy.
