The EACD is delighted to announce that Michael Pietig, Global Head of Brand Consulting at Hilti joins the ambassador and coordination team for the Brand Leadership working group. Together with Marc Cloosterman and Lars Bolle, Michael will support us in strengthening our network as well as provide insights into the complex world of branding and investigate new developments in this field. We are looking forward to working with Michael and warmly welcome him to the EACD Ambassadors team.
Based in Schaan, Liechtenstein, Michael leads Hilti's global brand management team. In this role he is responsible for the management, development and implementation of the Hilti brand around the world and the consulting of business units on the communication of product launches and communication campaigns.
Prior to joining Hilti Michael was Group Vice President, Head of Global Branding & Advertising at ABB in Zurich. Next to the global branding role Michael was responsible for the activation and communication of the partnership with “Solar Impulse”. Michael studied International Marketing in Münster, and has more than 15 years of experience in working in branding, marketing and communication for various companies, i.e. Hutchison Telecom, Orange, T-Mobile International and Deutsche Telekom.
From 2008 until 2013 Michael worked as Consulting Director at Interbrand in Zurich and consulted many leading international brands on Brand Creation, Brand Management und Brand Evaluation.
